Beautiful Minds Recovery - 24/7 access to a peer support specialist. Provides individualized recovery support by aiding in resource navigation, help getting basic needs met, assistance building a self-written crisis and/or recovery plan, or even just a distraction to help get through a tough time.
Butte Native Wellness Center - outpatient clinic that serves the American Indian and Alaska Native communities of Butte, Montana, and the surrounding areas. Clinic provides primary health and wellness services such as mental health, substance abuse recovery, and other primary healthcare essentials. All enrolled members of a recognized tribe can have access to our primary and behavioral health services without needing insurance.
Butte Rescue Mission - Provides housing, meals, recovery, and supportive services to those most vulnerable. Offers shelter for men, women, and families – both on an emergency basis and for longer-term recovery and transitional programs.
Butte Spirit Homes - a community-based peer support organization providing transitional living environments for people recovering from substance use disorder, consisting of two adult recovery homes open to both male and female populations, placing a preference on serving Silver Bow and the adjacent counties, but open to the statewide population.
Gilder House - substance use treatment programs for adults, adolescents, and children living in Montana.
Ideal Option - Outpatient and MOUD (Medications for Opioid Use Disorders) treatment. Locations in Billings, Bozeman, Butte, Cut Bank, Glasgow, Great Falls, Helena, Kalispell and Missoula.
Montana Technical University - not only provides health care services for common physical ailments, but also for depression and other mental health concerns. In addition, healthcare providers can make referrals for specialty providers (such as substance use treatment) and community resources, and on-campus counselors are available.
Montana Chemical Dependency Center (MCDC) - intensive in-patient treatment that cares for the disease of addiction including withdrawal management for substance use disorders and treatment for co-occurring mental health disease. MCDC provides the highest level or most intense level of treatment for addictions in the health care continuum funded by the state of Montana. (Serves men and women)
Southwest Montana Addiction Recovery and Treatment (SMART) - Services provided include substance use disorder evaluations, Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient services, co-occurring (both SUD and mental health) disorder treatment, ACT/DUI and MIP classes as well as adolescent SUD services.
Southwest Montana Community Health Center - offers a variety of behavioral health services to adults and children to address needs related to substance use or other behaviors impacting your physical health. Emotional well-being affects physical health. Provides medication like Suboxone and naltrexone/Vivitrol. In addition, we offer behavioral health, care management, and peer support.
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs - Charlie Dowd VA Clinic (Butte) - provides outpatient substance use treatment as well as Medical Assisted Therapy (MAT). An eight weeks-to-two years substance use treatment residential programs and peer support is available. VA-specific treatment programs can also be found through the suds locator at va.gov.
Western Montana Mental Health Center - substance use treatment programs for adults, adolescents, and children living in Montana.
We Care Behavioral Health - mental health clinic offering on site and telehealth outpatient therapy, adult and youth case management, community based rehab and support services, medication management, 24/7 crisis line service, adult group home, and representative payee services. (Serves to children and adults age 4+).
White Buffalo Healing Lodge - Drop-in center, mental health therapy and assessments, addiction counseling. Provides weekly support groups, such as Talking Circle, Wellbriety - the 12 Steps with Native Culture, and Peer Support Groups- to include LGBTQA+ groups.
406 Recovery - substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment via telehealth. Available throughout Montana.

Alcoholics Anonymous - A fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problems and help others to recovery from alcoholism. Check website for meetings in communities throughout Montana.
Narcotics Anonymous Montana - is a nonprofit fellowship of recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. This is a program of complete abstinence from all drugs. There is only one requirement for membership, the desire to stop using. Check website for statewide meeting times.
